Holidays in the Square… Pioneer Square That Is

One of the many great things about being located in Pioneer Square is being able to take part in all the various events and activities that take place all throughout the neighborhood. The holiday season is no exception. As in years past, the Alliance for Pioneer Square has put together a number of events during November and December.

SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY: NOVEMBER 25

Come shop for the holidays and support your favorite neighborhood businesses on Small Business Saturday, November 25th. Check out the Pioneer Square business listing map for a full array of retail shops, art galleries, and eateries in the neighborhood. Please visit their individual websites to discover specific Small Business Saturday events and promotions that may be happening.

The Alliance for Pioneer Square offers FREE PARKING on Small Business Saturday at Butler Garage – 114 James St. Please tell the attendant you are there for Small Business Saturday to take advantage of free parking. Vehicles left after closing (12 midnight) are subject to regular parking fees.

THIRD ANNUAL HOLIDAY MARKET: DECEMBER 8 – 9

The Pioneer Square Holiday Market returns for the third year. Now a two-day event, join us at Occidental Square Park on Friday, December 8, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 9, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. While you stroll through the Holiday Market, make sure to swing by the Atlas booth. You’ll have a chance to warm up with us as we’ll give out free coffee, cider, and cocoa, along with a selection of sweet treats.

Need to shop for holiday gifts? The Holiday Market features 40+ vendors, including craft-makers, sustainable gifts, local artists, and much more. Enjoy food and drink vendors from the neighborhood and beyond. Our friends at the Downtown Seattle Association will have a free public skating rink onsite during the Holiday Market (free skate rentals included). There will be entertainment from local performers, free cocoa, and much more! The Pioneer Square Holiday Market is free and open to the public.
